    We offer several positions, including full-time, part-time, temporary, local, and international positions, depending on your abilities and preferences. Let us know which positions or opportunities you prefer during the initial interview, and we will pair you with clients who match your offer.
    Do you only hire native English speakers?

    As long as you possess the required UK qualifications and are a near-native or fluent English speaker, don't hesitate to sign up with The London Governess. Likewise, some clients prefer fluency in multiple languages, such as French or Arabic. Make sure to include your level of fluency in your application, as client requirements may vary.
    As a nanny or maternity nurse, will I be required to do housework?

    Depending on the client, you may be requested to perform light housework duties, mainly related to childcare duties. Tasks may include tidying up and organising a nursery, sterilising bottles, washing children's clothes, etc. Your salary will be negotiated based on your employer's individual requirements. Governesses, tutors, and teacher companions are not expected to do any housework.

    In the case of a one-year contract, all childcare providers are given four weeks of paid annual leave. Individual days off should be discussed with the employer, preferably beforehand.
